Depending on the season and lighting conditions, guests may still experience beautiful emerald-colored water inside the cave during the Sunset Tour. We carefully adjust our launch times throughout the year to help guests catch the last of the Emerald Cave glow while still experiencing sunset on the river. The real magic of this tour, though, is the peaceful evening atmosphere, golden canyon lighting, and glowing scenery as the Black Canyon transitions into dusk.
